Cultivating the Capacity to Receive

In this video, Natalie Imbach, Registered Psychologist and co-founder of Brave Humanity, introduces Cultivating the Capacity to Receive, the third theme in the Fall Journey.

Many of us know how to help. We know how to carry. We know how to take care of what needs to be taken care of.

And sometimes asking someone else for help can feel more vulnerable than simply doing it ourselves.

But receiving isn’t just about letting people help you. It can begin with questions like:

What actually feels supportive to me?
Who feels safe to ask?
Do I want advice, or do I want someone to simply sit beside me?
Can I say yes?
Can I say no?
Can I say, “That’s enough”?

This Circle explores what it might be like to receive support while remaining connected to yourself, your boundaries, and your own knowing.

Because being supported doesn’t have to mean giving yourself away. And being strong doesn’t have to mean carrying everything alone.
